Here are some basic “Rules of Thumb” for Piscean Compatibility Profiles.  Of course, these are based on Sun Sign only, in order to truly plot compatibility it is best to have a professional compatibility profile done between the two charts, but this is a general description of the core energies to be expected.

Pisces Male and Aries Female

This may be a difficult combination unless other aspects within the chart are positive.  The Pisces Male is sensitive and caring and the Aries Female is a fiery and independent and action-oriented energy.  The Pisces Male wants to sit back and dream a little while the Aries Female wants to go, go, and go.  Without an elemental balance within the charts the connection can be fleeting at best.

Pisces Female and Aries Male

This mix can actually work out a bit better than its’ reverse as the masculine and feminine biological energies can enhance the connection.  The Pisces Female will idolize the Aries for his take charge approach to life and feel cherished and protected, while the Arian Male will find her femininity and dreaminess quite appealing.  She will want to create a comfort zone for him to recharge in and he will want to “lasso the moon” for her.

Water, water everywhere and not a drop to drink!  The Pisces Male and the Cancer Female are said by traditional astrologers to be well-matched due to their common elemental influence of water, and this can well be so as long as both parties are able to comfortably allow the other to swim to the deep end of the pool of emotion without feeling a sense of abandonment, or hold on so tightly that they begin to pull each other under and succumb to the smothering influences of water.  They will understand each other quite well, thank you, but they need to be able to balance practicality with sentiment.

Having a mother and an elder brother belonging to this sun sign has really given me an inside look at what makes both the female and the male Pisces tick. Every Pisces will be just a tad bit different than these generalities based on a full chart comparison, however, wherever you find Pisces in anyone’s chart, these characteristics will be displayed.

Common to both sexes of the sign of The Fish is a need for true love, faith and inner peace. Without these influences in the lives of our friend Pisces, we see a tendency toward escapism and fantasy.

Pisces may well be the kindest sign in the zodiac, and due to this kindness, they are often shocked when others’ behave in ways that are unkind or cruel, hence, the myth that they can be “gullible” arises. Pisces are not gullible, they just expect the best from everyone, and assume that people don’t go around intentionally hurting each other because it is not a thing that they themselves would do.

Women of today have much more on their minds than snipping coupons out of the Sunday paper. We balance career, family, social lives not only for ourselves, but for our life partners and children as well. Time is money and money is time for today’s busy woman. Here is a quick and easy sign-by-sign psychic guide to saving money.

Aries women need to watch out for impulse buys. Standing in the checkout line at your local grocery, you are more prone than any of the other signs to grab those “last minute” items that are placed there just for you, the impulse buyer! When you are shopping, make a list and stick to it. If it is not on your list, do not buy it. Use your psychic ability to discern if your desire to make a purchase is based on a want or a need.

Taurus women tend to be practical at saving money until it comes to decorating their home and surroundings. Our Virgo sister is usually quite thrifty and able to trust her intuition as to when to buy and where. The Virgo woman is a model of practicality when it comes to finances. What she needs to focus on is ensuring that the money that she is saving is earning as much interest as is possible given the low return on investments right now. When we give gifts, we usually try to present the recipient with a present that we, ourselves, would appreciate.  The key to being a great “presenter” is to give a gift that will appeal to the recipients’ personality and psychological expectations and pleasure centers.

When giving a gift to a lover this Valentine’s Day, if you know what sign their Venus resides in, you should try to provide a gift relative to that sign.  If you only know your love’s Sun Sign, then use that for a guide.

Aries

New and shiny and sparkly, reflective, items that look new and reflect back to them!  Glass, diamonds, mirrors, shiny ornaments, etc. are materials that appeal to them.  Items that are personalized are very pleasant to them.  Red, black and white are their preferred color schemes.  Metallic wrapping paper is always a good idea.

Taurus

High quality is more important here than quantity.  Textures are very important, clothing must feel good against their skin, soft and silky, pleasing to touch.  Tickets to a show are not a good idea as Taureans would rather have an item they can hold onto than an experience to remember, but a gourmet meal at the finest restaurant in the city will work wonders.  Flowers make them cry and will be pressed in a special book and saved forever.  Colors are pastels and blue.

Gemini

Wrapping won’t matter here, it may not even be noticed!  Greens and yellows are there favorite colors and since the entire world around them fascinates them, you can go in just about any gift direction you choose!  A collection of little assorted and varied gifts is always a hit, the grab bag effect extends their pleasure.  Joke gifts are well received by this sign.  Books, books and more books, movies are a popular choice too!  Or, the book AND the movie too!

Cancer

Sentimentality at its’ most profound here.  Flowery wrapping paper, mushy cards that expound the depths of your feelings for them will be treasured forever.  Soft gifts (to the touch) are very pleasing.  A comfy, cozy blanket or shirt, warm socks or booties, something that says it will take care of them works wonders.  A gift that contains sentimental value to YOU will have them choking up instantaneously, like your favorite childhood stuffed animal.  Cancer colors are earth tones.

Leo

Do it big!  Even if a tiny present, put it in a big box with a giant bow!  They love to be the center of attention so send that singing telegram or the room full of balloons to their office.  Make sure it arrives when everyone is around to see how loved they are!  Flaming red, blazing orange and dead black are colors that will appeal to them.

Virgo

Think practical.  This is what they will appreciate more than anything.  Something that is useful in everyday life will tickle their fancy quite nicely.  Make it natural, all natural fibers in their clothing, hand woven baskets or gifts from the health food store.  Colors are brown, cream, wheat and khaki, humble says it best.

Libra

Scorpio

Anything about horses, the book “How to Live Like a Horse” would be an excellent choice here.  Anything fun!  A fun time, tickets to the circus, lottery tickets, sporting equipment, items to use when traveling, baggy sweaters, take them to a fun party.  Colors are purple, royal blue and white.

Capricorn

No matter what it is, make sure it is the BEST of it’s like.  Books on how to better oneself, how to get ahead, biographies of the ultra-successful, anything that reeks of success will appeal to them.  Green, black and silver are their colors.  Items that they can use at work are always popular with them, anything to help them stay organized will be appreciated.

Aquarius

Any Aquarian you know will have some type of current passion, find out what it is, and gift accordingly.  Since these passions may change hourly, make sure you wait until right before the holiday to shop for it.  Electronic gadgets, puzzles, brain teasers, unusual and hard to find objects, either ultra modern or ancient in nature will all have appeal.  Velcro and zippers turn them on.  Colors are white, electric blue, yellow and green, and oh, they LOVE stripes!

Pisces

Appeal to their imaginations, put a little magic into their gift.  Velvety soft clothing, velvety soft foods, velvety soft wrapping paper and cards will do well.  Poetry, mystical books, a psychic reading, an astrology chart will also make them happy.  The colors on a peacock feather on the colors for Pisces, and purple.  They also tend to like coconuts for some odd reason.

Sex and “The Silly”

A couple of years ago, when I abruptly found myself single and had just become a member of Netflix, I rented the entire series “Sex and The City”, and watched it faithfully from beginning to end.

I loved the series!!

There were so many TRUE points about relationships as adult single women in their thirties and forties that I could relate to, and their portrayal of the ups and downs of relationships, the hook-ups, the bad breakups were all just TOO real!

One of the things that I like to do when watching a favorite show is to try to “guesstimate” the astrological influences that drive the well-defined characters.  So please just indulge my silliness here!

In my observations of this popular series, I came up with this analysis.

I believe Samantha to be a Water Sign.  She was just so sensual and free, she probably was a Sun Sign Scorpio with a Venus in Sagittarius and a Rising Sign of Aquarius.  She was sensual to the core, loved her freedom and was a very independent woman capable of intellectualizing any emotional situation.  She eventually finds love in an uncommon pairing, with a much younger man, hence my call of Aquarius rising, just a bit “eccentric” in her choices and tastes.

Miranda, now she’s fire, strong fire.  I think Miranda is an Aries Sun with strong Leonine influences in her chart.  She doesn’t take any nonsense from anyone, is very ambitious, career motivated, very, very independent and she has a hard time accepting the fact that she can be loved and love without benefit of pain.  When she finally accepts love into her life, she becomes a self-actualized woman and finds happiness.

Then we have Charlotte.  Mother Earth.  She starts off as a character who is focused on building and establishing and is actually quite materialistic, and then she evolves into a more open, less judgmental earthly being, finding love in a place that her character, prior to development, would never have looked.  Although I strongly suspect her of being a Sun Virgo, I believe her Moon must be in Taurus.  Charlotte must have some planets in Water Signs also as she does tap into her spirituality as she develops into womanhood.

And Carrie.  Oh Carrie.  Definitely Air.  All Air.  Her need to constantly communicate and express herself lends itself to a suspicion of strong Gemini tendencies, along with her ability to carry on an affair with an ex who is married and then HONESTLY tell her current love about it. She seeks the truth in all things, heavy Aquarius influence, and her need to be fair with everyone is definitely Libran in nature. 

Carries quips and quotes and references to the foolish things women do like “Drunk Dialing” could easily become a manual for what “not to do” when entering a relationship.  She’s so honest about everything that happens to her, and ultimately, she does find her Soul Mate, in, of all people, Big.

I miss that show.

Maybe someday they’ll do a follow up with the characters and call it “Sex and the Senile” and enlighten us as to love during our golden years!!!

Now here’s a real firecracker!

Aries is the very first sign of the zodiac, really kicks things off in a big way, sort of like the “Big Bang Theory” of Astrology.

As the first sign of the Zodiac, it is also considered the “infant” of the zodiac wheel.  More “young souls” are found under this fiery and impulsive sign than under any other sign of the zodiac.  Here is where our souls begin to learn our karmic lessons, frequently being one of our first three incarnations.

Both males and females of this assertive sign seem to emerge from a metaphysical fountain of youth.  Even when they are octogenarians they still seem to have a childlike exuberance about them.

Aries is ruled by Mars, a very energetic planet indeed, even impulsive, so expect your Arian to be a bit of a go-getter in all areas of life.

Mars is a very war-like planet and as such influences those born under its’ rule in a way that makes them literally seek out and destroy competition and opposing forces.  This is someone that you will want “on your side” when facing difficulties, without a doubt, and can make a fearsome opponent if on the other side of the battle field.

Due to the Aries sign being childlike in exuberance, they frequently may fail to be a good judge of character and may actually find themselves hurt when those they have chosen to trust in error hurt or betray them, they just don’t comprehend disloyalty.

With Aries of both sexes it is IMPERATIVE (did I write that in all caps), that you treat your relationship with them as if you never had a prior experience that comes close to comparing to the connection you have with them.  NEVER (did I use all caps) discuss your exes with them.  It will make them feel like they are a rerun or not fresh and new, and it hurts them, they must feel that they are first.

One of the most difficult signs in the zodiac to seduce is the Aquarius.  Male or female, they see straight through any insincerity or falseness, so if you want to really win them over, you really need to want them in your life.

To seduce an Aquarian male, you must first of all learn what his primary interests are.  Being an Aquarius man, they will be many and varied and it will be difficult to feign an interest, so you will have to cultivate a knowledge of one or two of his primary focuses.  He will know everything there is to know about his passions, so we aren’t talking about doing a quick Wiccapedia read up on his topics of interest, we’re talking about some serious homework here.

Why?

Here are some basic “Rules of Thumb” for Piscean Compatibility Profiles.  Of course, these are based on Sun Sign only, in order to truly plot compatibility it is best to have a professional compatibility profile done between the two charts, but this is a general description of the core energies to be expected.

Pisces Male and Aries Female

This may be a difficult combination unless other aspects within the chart are positive.  The Pisces Male is sensitive and caring and the Aries Female is a fiery and independent and action-oriented energy.  The Pisces Male wants to sit back and dream a little while the Aries Female wants to go, go, and go.  Without an elemental balance within the charts the connection can be fleeting at best.

Pisces Female and Aries Male

This mix can actually work out a bit better than its’ reverse as the masculine and feminine biological energies can enhance the connection.  The Pisces Female will idolize the Aries for his take charge approach to life and feel cherished and protected, while the Arian Male will find her femininity and dreaminess quite appealing.  She will want to create a comfort zone for him to recharge in and he will want to “lasso the moon” for her.

Aquarius Male and Aries Female

This is a fairly good mix.  The Aquarian Male will enjoy the fire and spunk of the Aries Female.  Her independent streak and regal bearing will attract and fascinate him.  She will be his intellectual equal and quite possibly his physical superior, being more active and on the go than the Aquarian Man of ideas and ideals.  The trigger points usually stem from the Arian need to be more self centered and the Aquarian need to see the benefit to the larger picture.

Aquarius Female and Aries Male

This mix can be a bit more difficult than it’s reverse as the Aquarian Female will have a strong masculine energy which can cause the Arian Male to repel away a bit.  She likes his strength and generosity, but his tendency toward self-centeredness will be hard for her to understand.  He likes her detachment, it challenges him, but at the same time he longs to be the center of her universe, which she can never quite make happen, her universe is too multi-layered to have just one center.

Although traditionally astrologers state that this is a difficult pairing, in my experience and observations I find this to be quite the opposite.  The Aquarian Male is not usually thought of as a very sexual sign, but when paired with a Scorpio Woman this changes into heat and intensity.  Sexual experimentation and a drive to please each other physically can create a strong chemical bond between these two that is nearly unbreakable.
